The school feels like somewhere we're forced to be, often students are trying to skip class or leave the school and empty promises of cameras around campus haven't stopped anything.

Liberal High school is a great affordable school. You will always feel as part of the school and overall it’s great!

Overall I loved LHS, I’m glad LHS gave me the opportunity to study in our community college at the same time It helps a ton! Being able to have a head start to a career makes things a lot easier and faster. I appreciated the staff as well, you could ask anyone anything and they’d be right there to help and guide you. The best part is that no matter the situation you’re in (academic wise) teachers would give you the opportunity to raise grades by doing a little extra work. Honestly I couldn’t say I would change anything.

I was a part of the class of 2019 and have a sibling currently enrolled. Honestly, it was bad before but now this district, specifically the high school, is just laughable. They really don't know what kind of students they are dealing with and have designed a system meant for wealthy students and force participation on their kids.

LHS has been an interesting experience and I have enjoyed my time here. My freshman and Sophom*ore years were COVID years and I wasn't able to participate in the sports I like to take part in. We had no softball season my freshman year and a very limited volleyball season my sophom*ore year. LHS is a very diverse school and it's a great place to learn about different cultures.

While this school has many great opportunities for students, sometimes the teachers aren't completely on board with it. The education aspect is pretty good, but it's not the best learning environment.

I found people I can talk when I'm in need. There are a lot of people with different cultures. The Fine arts program is really good. People in those programs really have a say to make it fun.

I like that there is plenty of support when needed. Most teachers are willing to go out of their way to help students. We are a small town and a very tight community that is very supportive of our athletics. I would really like to see a better sports program.

Liberal High School has been a one in a lifetime experience. It has very friendly teachers and staff and they have always been supportive. The people that I have meet here changed my life for the better. They helped me become who I am and they have paved my future and have set me up for college.

The environment of the school itself is very good. The teachers are always willing to help and will take time out of their day to make you the best student you can be. The only bad thing is that in your schedule you can be scheduled for multiple classes at the same time which can make learning new material difficult.

Liberal high school was moderate, it was fun playing sports for the school such as football and track but the school had varied problems with teaching and administrations issues.

Some things I enjoyed and liked about Liberal High school is there scheduling system. Instead of the usaul 8 classes with a Bell schedule they have a flex mod system. This system helps teaches students time management because of how it is designed

How am I suppose to pass a class where my teacher doesn’t know what they’re teaching? Teachers should really prioritize making sure their students learn the material in order to pass rather than just half-assing their teaching, leaving students no choice but to learn the lesson themselves. Should really consider making a mandatory class about colleges for seniors to take because it seems like no one knows what they’re doing when it comes to college, scholarships, ect. They wonder why students does not continue schooling after high-school but does not consider the fact they make college seem like it’s only for the privileged in academics or athletics. This school has potential to be great therefore I will give 2 stars instead of one.

I liked the flex mod schedule it really helped manage my time a lot! I liked how it gave me more time to do my homework and to ask for help. It gave me an opportunity to ask for help even if everyone was busy, this helped make time for the help you needed.

Liberal Senior High was a very good high school experience. My sophom*ore year we switched from a normal schedule to a more complex one known as redesign. Our district was one of the schools chosen to do reconstruct our schedule out of many that applied. To give a short explanation of how it is now , I would compare it a lot to college. We have 23 mods in a day, a mod is 15 minutes and your class could vary from 2-4 mods a time. Therefore you will not have class every hour of the day, during our off time we have PLT (personalized learning time) where we could work on our homework or get help if needed in that desired subject. With this schedule it allowed students to work at their pace, not move around like zombies with 8 class switching every hour or so, mature, and learn time management. I have really enjoyed the new schedule and how it fits each student to their needs.

At this school, there is always the chance of meeting amazing people who will help you through high school like it's nothing. I have met great friends who care about me through my mental health to my grades and vice versa. Most of the teachers and staff are exceptional as well, helping me with my work and questions whenever I have them. The rest of the teachers and staff do their jobs but fail to help and clarify content for the students. Some higher staff can be difficult to contact as well, such as counselors who control the schedules of the students. Due to personal experiences with trying to have some of my questions answered about my upcoming year's enrollment, the counselors can be seen as somewhat irresponsible in my eyes. The lack of voice the minor students have make it difficult for actual concerns to come to light because all the voice comes from the students who put themselves out there for attention. This school is good for opportunities, but not the content it promises.

As a senior in high school, LHS has been an awesome school to attend. The school environment is mostly great. We are given more time to work on out studies during the day with this new flex mod schedule. My favorite thing about high school was the amount of school spirit we all have during games, spirit week, or when it comes to showing pride towards the school.

I feel that the school is pretty average. The learning can allow students to be engaged, but only to a specific few who are interested. The students sometimes don't have an option whether to take a class or not. If a student wants to seek a career in history, then I feel that they should be allowed to have more than one history class.
